What I've been up to
Christmas is coming and since this is our first Christmas married I wanted to have some stockings that we can always keep! I drew the pattern, cute out the green flannel, and cut out the whimsical tops. Then sewed it all together! Luckily, I had a sewing machine! The bells add a little Christmas cheer.

An experiment with Nature
It's a wrap!
A fun simple wrap headband. I have one that I bought that is similar in style, and I have been wanting to duplicate it. This was the result. The colors are somewhat summer-like, but I thought they looked good together. This project is super easy and fast. All you need is a needle and thread, and scissors to cut out the fabric!

Felt Flower Headband
Flower Headbands
Women's Bird and Branches Shirt
Girls Birds and Branches Shirt
The idea for these shirts came to me when I saw my friend Jordan's picture she made, and it had a design similar to this. I bought some iron on wonder under, and made some sketches. This shirt I made for my little niece Elsie.I used purple, green, and brown. The shirt itself I bought at Old navy. I sewed around the edges with matching embroidery floss. It turned out really cute.
This shirt is very similar. This is for my other niece, also a little girl. I used the same tecnique only with a brown, pink, and green motiff. Also instead of using leaves on the branches I used flowers.
